What does it cost?

In the state of Utah, the cost for a deferred deposit varies depending on the length of your loan and amount you borrow, however there is a minimum fee of $10.00. For example, if you borrow $200.00 for 14 days, our fee would be $40.00, which equals APR of 521.43%. This is approximately $10 per week for every $100.00 you borrow. This APR is based on an example term of one payment due in 14 days.

The APR may increase or decrease from a maximum of 1460% (for a 5 day $50 loan) to a minimum of (521.29% for a 22 day $50 loan). APR variations are base on two factors. The first APR variation is caused by our minimum fee of $10.00. The second APR variation is caused by rounding (and our commitment to fully and accurately disclose our finance charges and APRs), since we must round fees to the nearest cent. How do I qualify?

Do I need a fax machine?

Many of our competitors require their online customers to fax completed forms in order to apply for an online loan. We realize that not everyone has access to a fax machine, so we strive to minimize faxing; however, in rare instances, we may require you to fax certain documentation.

What if I filled for bankruptcy?

In most cases, your prior bankruptcy history will not affect your approval; however, at a minimum, you must be able to provide us with your bankruptcy closing date.

When can I get my money?

At USA Cash Services® we have streamlined our application process so that you can have your money as fast as possible. If your Utah cash advance request is completed and approved during our hours (M-F 8 AM to 7:30 PM and Sat 10 AM to 2 PM (Mountain Time):
  • Electronic deposit to your checking account, you will generally receive your money the next business day!

Loan requests that are completed after our business hours will generally be processed our next business day.

How do bank holidays affect my loan?

We are open on many bank holidays. If you choose to receive your money directly into your checking account and your bank is closed, your payday loan advance will be delayed until your bank is open. When your bank is closed we cannot process payday loan advances that are deposited directly to your checking account.

What if I don't want the loan?

You have the right to cancel this loan without paying the finance charge. To do so, you must call us no later than 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time on the next banking business day following the date of your loan agreement. We will debit your account for the amount financed without any additional charges and cancel your loan.

How do I repay?

  • Automatic Payment (Our computers automatically create a paper draft which is used to withdraw repayment funds from your bank account on the due date.
  • Pay in cash at one of our many office locations
  • If you cannot repay, you may be able to extend you loan. Sign-In to your account to request an extension.

What is an extension?

You may be able to extend your loan. To do so simply Sign-In to your account and complete the form. A cash advance can be extended for a maximum of 31 days for each extension. You may extend multiple times. Under Utah regulations, a deferred deposit loan may not be extended beyond 10 weeks from the start date of the original loan.

Can I pay early?

Yes. You may prepay at any time without penalty. To pay off early visit one of our many store locations or contact us and we can automatically debit your checking account for an early payoff

What if I cannot pay?

Call us immediately! Our computers are set up to withdraw funds automatically from your checking account on the due date. If you cannot repay, you may be eligible to extend your Utah cash advance. If you cannot extend your loan and you know that there are not enough funds in your checking account it is important that you contact us  (801-476-4242) before your loan is due. Contacting us prior to your due date may save you (and us) costly bank overdraft (NSF) fees.

What if I default?

If you default, you should contact us in order to make acceptable payment arrangements. We may report information regarding your debt to Clarity, Teletrack, or other similar systems used by most payday loan companies nationwide. As a courtesy, your loan history may be reported to these systems.

If you do not repay your payday loan or contact us to make acceptable payment arrangements, we may report information about your payday loan to Teletrack, a national database used by most payday loan companies nationwide. Late payments, missed payments or other defaults on your payday loan transaction may be reflected in your history with Teletrack.
